Frequently Asked Questions

Who can join?
All organizations and public agencies providing assistance to persons who are in custody or who have recently been released from jail or prison are encouraged to join OCREP. Individuals who are not associated with a service provider may also join OCREP and attend all general membership meetings for the purpose of sharing and receiving information on prisoner reentry issues.

What is required to join?
OCREP requires that interested organizations and individuals complete an OCREP Registration form by clicking on the button at the top of the page and submit it on-line for approval by the Board of Directors' membership chairman. Once approved, the applicant will receive an email verifying acceptance as an OCREP member. At this time, no membership fees are required to join OCREP.

When does OCREP meet?
OCREP has General Member meetings on the second Tuesday of every other month from 3-5pm (unless otherwise noted). Locations vary depending on topic/agenda. Please check our homepage for more information.

Is OCREP a nonprofit organization?
OCREP is a fiscally sponsored project of OneOC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

How do I join?
Simply show up to an event, or join our mailing list for our e-newsletter. Email us at for more information or to be added to our list!

What is OCREP?
OCREP is a network of agencies, organizations and individuals who work with and/or are concerned about reentry. OCREP provides space to network, share resources and educate the community at large. We currently have over 500 people in our partnership.

Does it cost anything?
No! Being in the partnership is free! What are you waiting for?

How Can I Connect with OCREP?
Come to General Member meetings, join our newsletter to receive information on trainings, events, fundraisers, new partner highlights, county updates and more. Use the newsletter to highlight your agency and/or connect with others. We are also on Facebook and LinkedIn.

Can I Volunteer?
OCREP does not provide direct services, but has other ways to get involved. You can join a committee (see our Committees page for more information) or volunteer at large events that we collaborate on.

How can OCREP support my organization?
We are happy to help highlight your events, participate if we are able, share your successes/needs with our membership and/or partner for funding. Please contact us at for more information.
